  • Maintain a “Safe and Clean Culture” at all times

  • Follow all front counter processes according to Jolt checklists, Quality Improvement Visit (QIV) requirements, and the “Chick-fil-A Way”

  • Serve every guest that comes into Chick-fil-A with excellence by practicing the Core 4 and Second Mile Service at all times

  • Serve guests with sense of urgency and accuracy

  • Ensure a remarkable experience for guests in the dining room through second-mile service, refreshing beverages, and clearing their table of any empty trays

  • Arrive on time in full uniform ready to serve

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining room and restrooms

  • Know and understand proper food preparation procedures

  • Be REMARKable!


Skill Set required

Certified FOH Team Member requirements:

  • Completed front of house and register training

  • Maintains a safe and clean culture throughout the shift

    • Cleans spills

    • Wipes counters

    • Dresses professionally and follow team member appearance requirements

  • Work as a cashier during peak hours of the day (Lunch for day crew, dinner for night crew) three separate times

  • Understands and practices the Core 4 and Second Mile Service at all times

  • Takes orders, trays/bags food, and makes shakes quickly and accurately

  • Can work the dining room and second mile guests, maintain cleanliness of tables and floors, and perform closing tasks

  • Close dining room three separate shifts without a trainer



  • Understands and practices Core 4 when serving guests

  • Takes orders with minimal mistakes

  • Can efficiently perform essential Front Counter functions

    • Tray/bag food accurately

    • Handle money during transaction

    • Can stock sauces, ice, lemonade, and tea

  • Drops what they are doing to serve the guest

  • Understands how to maintain safety and cleanliness of Front Counter

  • Can efficiently perform essential Dining Room functions

    • Second mile guests

    • Maintain cleanliness of floors, tables, and restrooms

    • Help take order on front counter when needed

    • Complete all closing tasks by 10:15pm
